“Grounded”, oil on brushed aluminum, 19″ x 15″, $975

Abstract oil painting on metal in blue and white with exposed silver overlapping hashmarks creating space.

This piece found its name with a backward glance into my past. The indigo and Payne’s grey settle into the lower left of the panel, grounding the corner. The hatch marks rising, find their way to the light through the smoky, reflective silver/grey and resolve in a beautiful cyan/pthalo blue. The movement found its blue sky.
