He was “Solus” a street artist from Dublin Ireland who was in town to work with “The Bushwick Collective” on the murals in Brooklyn. This was a few years ago, before it became super popular. He was telling me about the murals he had planned for some walls in Manhattan and that he was invited to participate in “Art Basel” in Miami. At this point I thought he was telling some tall tales so when I got on the train I googled him. It was all true. I investigated the Bushwick Collective and my love of Street Art was born. In this piece, I experimented with masking, using cut out curves and edges to shield the panel while layering colors on top. “Spotlights”, oil on brushed aluminum, 19″ x 15″, SOLD Moonbeams, oil on brushed aluminum panel, 19″ x 15″, $975 Georgiana, oil on canvas, 10″ x 12″, $425 Morning Ride in Wilton, oil on linen, 24″ x 30″, $2200 “Devil’s Den”, 30″ x 34″, oil on natural linen, $3000 Silvery Moon, Triptych, 48″ x 100″, oil on aluminum, Sold “Sherwood Inverted”, 25″ x 37″, oil on steel, $3300 A Giant’s View, 24″ x 36″ Surreal Monster Flowers “Sherwood Inverted”, 24″ x 36″, oil on steel, $2400 framed Hotel Elfonso XIII, Seville, 18 x 24″ oil on canvas Snowbird. “Whispers”, oil on aluminum, 39″ x 51″, $6900 “Black Ice”, oil on aluminum, 24”x 24”, Sold “Salt Lake Sky”, 20″ x 30″, oil on linen, $1800 “Summer Storm”, 15.5″ x 19.5″, etching ink on paper, $975 Moth Flowers Miami Art Show at the Eduardo Lira Art Gallery2075 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127 “Red Sky at Night”, 24″ x 24″, oil on linen, $1700 “Vertigo 2”, 30 x 60, metalic acrylic, mixed medium on canvas, $6300 “Switchbacks” , oil on brushed aluminum, 40″ x 40″, $5600 No Boundaries, oil on aluminum, 27″ x 27″, $2500 Trent Call’s Coaster Rider “Full Tilt”, 37″ x 39″, oil on aluminum, $5100 Murdock Peak – Altitude, 9602’ Break in the Storm, oil on brushed aluminum panel, 27″ x 27″ Hotel Elfonso XIII, Seville, 18 x 24″ oil on canvas Hungry Peonies Devouring Berries September, 39 x 51, oil on brushed aluminum panel, $6900 Safe Passage, oil on brushed aluminum, 27″ x 51″, $4100 Through the Storm, oil on brushed aluminum panel, 51 x 63 $10,500 Lauren’s Rose, 38″ x 46″ “Fairy Flower”, 36″ x 48″, acrylic on canvas, $7300 “Pony Marsh #2, 11” x 14″+ frame, Sold Red Sky at Night #2, oil paint on a brushed aluminum panel, 27″ x 27″, SOLD Open Wide and say Ahhhh Biba, Barbara Hulanicky “Aerial Blush”, oil on aluminum, 15″ x 19″, $975 Louise Bourgeois, Maman Lakeside View “Frost”, oil on aluminum, 19″ x 15″, $975 Silver Road, oil on aluminum, 39″ x 39″, $5300 Bleeding Poppy, 16″x 16″ Sherwood Salt Marsh, 23″ x 29″, Oil on canvas, $1900, Soft Pink, 36″ x 48″ Midway, 16″ x 20″ Oil on canvas.
