Interpreting flowers in spray paint brings a modern edge to a traditional subject. In this piece, I experimented with masking, using cut out curves and edges to shield the panel while layering colors on top. “Half Moon Bay”, 24″ x 24″,oil on linen, $1700 “Into the Storm”, 39″ x 51″, oil on steel, Sold “Metamorphosis”, acrylic spray paint on steel, 39″ x 51″, $6000 “Wildflower Meadow”, 24″ x 36″, oil on steel, $500 framed Violet Iris, acrylic spray paint on steel, 39″ x 51″, Sold “Sherwood Inverted”, 25″ x 37″, oil on steel, $3300 Southold Beach, 20″ x 20, $1400 Mountain Rain, oil on brushed aluminum panel, 19″ x 15″, $975 “Delphinium”, acrylic spray paint on steel, 51″x 39″, $7250 Playful Orange, 36″ x 48″ Serenity Crawling Under, oil on brushed aluminum, 19″ x 15″, $975 Overton’s Kings Highway North, Oil on steel, 40″ x 30″, $3600 No Boundaries, oil on aluminum, 27″ x 27″, $2500 Summer Storm Shadow, 15.5″ x 19.5″ etching ink on paper, $975 Inside SCOPE Miami Beach, 2019 Art Show!
