Tranquil Embrace: A Gift to the 2026 Red, White & Snow Auction

This year, I am honored to donate my painting Tranquil Embrace to the National Ability Center’s 2026 Red, White & Snow auction in Park City. Red White and Snow takes place March 5-7, 2026. Be sure to register well before the event to see all the wonderful items for auction and place your bids!
Tranquil Embrace is an original oil painting on brushed aluminum panel, measuring 15 x 19 inches, fully framed, with a value of $975. The piece was created as a reflection on resilience—the quiet kind. Layered blues and gentle movement evoke a sense of being held, steady, and supported, much like the support the NAC gives to all the participants in the program.
The mission of the National Ability Center deeply resonates with me. Their work creates access to the outdoors while fostering confidence, independence, and possibility for individuals and families navigating physical and cognitive challenges. Those values—care, courage, and presence—are at the heart of this painting.
Donating Tranquil Embrace is my way of supporting the extraordinary community behind the NAC: the participants, families, staff, volunteers, and caregivers who show up every day to make transformative experiences possible. Art, like adaptive recreation, has the power to ground us, restore us, and remind us of our strength—especially in moments of challenge.
I am grateful to be part of the 2026 Red, White & Snow auction and to contribute, in my own way, to the meaningful work of the National Ability Center.
