Forest Bathing is a term I heard recently and I absolutely loved the idea. One of my favorite things to do is to hike through the woods and take in all the sights, smells and sounds of the forest. When I was a kid, my mom and her sisters would take us into the woods to look for things to make terrariums. My Aunt Ginny in particular was very well versed in the plants of the forest and taught us how to collect moss, plants with little red berries and other cool stuff to assemble in our vessels. One day we even found a Lady Slipper, which are an endangered orchid like flower. We left that one alone but felt so privileged to have seen it in the wild.
