I have been having some fun experimenting with spray paints on aluminum. I am excited about the brushless technique, wonderfully bright colors and speed of the quick drying paint. This painting is 24″ x 36″. I understand why graffiti is usually done on a large scale as it will take some time to get the kind of control I am used to with a brush but I like the soft fuzzy effect of the spray. It is interesting too when you over lay the colors as sometimes they become much brighter and pop, other times they get sucked into a deeper field of color. It is unpredictable and not what I expected. It is very freeing and I am liking the results. It has opened up a whole new world for me to explore!
