It is time to start thinking about “Red, White and Snow”, the annual fundraiser for the National Ability Center here in Park City, March 2-4, 2017! I am donating “Silver Lining” this year for the silent auction. It is about 40″ x 40″, the beautiful matte black frame has a hint of silver around the edge. I hope you will all go to the Red, White and Snow website, register, and participate in the auction this year! There will be lots of items at many price points! I hope you will help to support this wonderful place so they can continue to help people overcome their disabilities and live a fulfilling life.
This painting was inspired by an incredible storm here in Park City on February 18th, 2016. It is oil on steel so the reflective silver metal is the lightest value of the road and the roadside snow and mountains. I have had a lot of interest in my painting “Into the Storm”, which recently sold so I wanted to create something similar for the auction. “Silver Lining” is a square format and a bit smaller than the first of the series.
Happy New Year to all my friends, family and followers! May your 2017 be filled with peace and love!
