Without a Moment’s Notice, Diptych
I decided to take a crack at painting some giant, crashing waves. As a kid, our family trekked from Upstate New York south to Florida around Easter every spring to get out of the snow and cold. Jumping the ocean waves, body surfing and occasionally getting rolled by a big wave was all part of the fun. I am happiest when I am near the ocean, a lake or a river, letting the site, sound and feel of the water sooth my soul.
