Weeping Sky Triptych
This windswept, moody storm painting is from my memory of Sherwood Island in Connecticut, looking past the dunes, grasses and buildings toward Long Island Sound. The sky is illuminated by the moon’s warm, peachy glow, through the clouds. It is surrounded by mottled blue and deep, purple clouds. When I brought this painting to The Summit Gallery, along with The Sound of Twilight, the gallerist put the three together and made another triptych. This combination worked very well and sold shortly thereafter.
