November Storm

November Storm is an abstract landscape oil painting on metal depicting giant aubergine storm clouds fiercely overcoming the mountains & fields afore. I will often paint several different sizes of panels in the same color palette and general composition to work out how best the color balance should be. Smaller sizes can amplify the drama, as it did in this piece.
