Mountain Triptych #1 explores the point where a recognizable mountain landscape begins to dissolve into atmosphere. Across the three panels, the mountain shifts between solidity and transparency, with its left edge seeming to disappear into the surrounding sky. Painted in oil on brushed aluminum panels, the reflective surface heightens the sense of light, movement and impermanence, allowing the landscape to feel both present and elusive.
