Cloud Illusions
I have always been a huge Joni Mitchell fan. Her song writing, lyrics and voice move me. The title of this painting, Cloud Illusions, comes from the song both sides now. As I enter into the third era of my existence, I see this song in a whole new light.
It is difficult to photograph my paintings on metal as the bits that I leave or expose of the silver never photograph well. In this piece I scrapped the horizon line under the clouds, it looks kind of peachy but really it is reflective silver. Please stop by The Summit Gallery to see it in person. 875 Main Street, Park City, Utah.
