Awakening

This contemporary oil painting is part of a fine art series inspired by sunset photos I took coming home one evening from the Park Meadows neighborhood in Park City. I wanted to paint a series that would hang together on a wall, three over three or a block of nine. I put the mountains and a bit of road at the lower edge of the painting to ground this piece.
