Amazon Burning

The fires in the Amazon are the inspiration for this original oil painting. The burning of what some refer to as, “The lungs of our planet,” is unimaginably devastating. It is not just the Amazon that is burning. California, Colorado, and Utah have seen an increase horrific fires as well. The smoke from the California fires was so thick last summer that the smog made its way to Park City, Utah and stayed for weeks. I share my deep concern for the health of our planet through my contemporary oil paintings.
