Across the Universe

One of the things I love most about Utah is star gazing at the amazing dark night sky. In this piece I convey the magical feeling I get when the mountains are illuminated by all the stars and sometimes the moon in the sky.  I let the silver show through on this mountain so it would reflect light through the transparent oil paint, stars and universe swirl around this solitary peak.
