I love the evergreen trees in Carmel, California! They have so much personality and are so different from the evergreens I know. Maybe it’s the ocean breeze whipping them around or the rocks they are forced to grow upon that makes them what they are? When I was there over the Easter holiday, I had the good fortune to celebrate a marvelous sunset on the beach. This composition is a confluence of the beautiful tree and the feeling of the sunset I experienced.
