This is the first year since I have been spending the majority of my time in Utah that I felt the need to get out of the snow and cold. A new friend showed me this photo in February and I immediately wanted to go there and get warm! Twilight is always fun to paint. I made the traffic lights really sparkle by scraping the paint away so the shimmers radiate from the traffic lights when the light in the room reflects off the metal.
