I am a big fan of the painter Lex Cyril who is London based. I like that is his work is geometric and abstract but still feels like landscapes. The quality and light play of his images is also super appealing to me. I also really like the abstract cyanotypes that Megan Riepenhoff creates. She is based in California but travels all over the world to source the water she uses to make her photographs. Her works are so organic, which really appeals to me along with the range of colors she achieves based on the body of water she is using. Their works have been the inspiration for this series.
