Snowbird Melting

I met my friend at Snowbird when she came out with her ski group from the east coast a year or so ago. I have to say that I don’t often make the trek to the other side of the Wasatch Mountain Range from Park City. What a splendid day we had. I took a lot of photos but the most fun and impressive area that we skied that day was the tremendous bowl, the likes of which I have never seen! She is a much better skier than I am and I did my best to keep up.
I am very concerned with the weather changes that are occurring in our lifetime.  I drove past the Deer Crest Reservoir at the end of January, 2020, and it was not even frozen.  In years past it was covered with ice-fishermen, their little huts dotting the lake.  There are very subtle drips coming from the top of the mountain, hence the title.  Bringing awareness to  such a controversial topic is difficult and many of us feel helpless to do anything to suspend or reverse the consequences of our actions. I am taking it one day at a time, changing what behaviors I can and hope you will join me. The power of one.  It certainly cannot hurt.
