My art studio view faces the beautiful Wasatch Back. It is ever inspiring, changing from season to season, from dark, to light and back again. This particular mountain stands out as I scan the range. In this contemporary oil painting I have captured what is known to the locals as Square Top. It is a haven for backcountry skiers in search of powder. Beware to the unfamiliar, many avalanches happen here. Snow Day is a fond memory of an unpredicted day off from school. I hope when things return to normal that the kids will once again enjoy snow days.
