Early Morning Road to JFK

The inspiration for this contemporary oil painting took place early one morning when my daughter & I were on our way to the airport. I think she was headed back to college after a nice break. The air was crisp with frost; it was so cold it took your breath away. The light was particularly beautiful and I asked her to take some photos for me to reference. The world sped by, as she clicked away.
