Art About Town

Another “Call for Entries“!  I have decided to enter Westport’s Art About Town.  This is a wonderful spring event put on by the Westport Downtown Merchants Association.  Local artists’ work is presented to the participating stores, and they, in turn, select which artist they would like to display.  The art hangs in in the store windows and in the interior of the shop.  On May 23rd, from 5:30 to 8:30pm, there will be a wonderful opening reception, and the art will then hang until June 16th.  On opening night, it is really fun to walk around downtown, meet the artists and do a little shopping all at the same time.  If you haven’t been to downtown Westport lately, you don’t know what you are missing.  We have stores here that rival any major city, right here in our homespun little town. I will be working on new material to submit for the show and will give you all a sneak peak soon. Wish me luck (and a primo location)!
